QUEEN EXCLUDER

Queen excluder is simple, low cost and strong for any type of beekeeping operation. Its smooth edges provide allows the honeybees to pass through the excluder with minimal effort and it makes them easy to clean with your hive tool or scraper.

Queen excluder is designed to fit neatly between the brood box and honey supers without affecting the interlock between the boxes. The are manufactured in a strong, UV stable plastic and are typically brown in colour. They stand up well to the pressure of the hive tool when leveraging the boxes apart.
