ENTRANCE REDUCER

Entrance Reducer is a reversible entrance reducer or closer. When used as an entrance reducer, it reduces the depth of the hive entrance to around 8mm making it easier for the honeybees to protect their colony from robbing bees, ants, wasps and other predators. It also make the entrance too small for mice to squeeze into the beehive.

When reversed, it becomes an entrance closer sealing off the entrance making it easy to transport beehives during daylight hours.
